That being said, this could be a problem isolated to Hoth's map design and not in the other ones. This would add some strategy and allow losing teams to regroup as a counter-offensive. Give me a top down map view like Planetside where I can see red hot zones of enemy activity and decide if I'm valuable there as a new spawn. Why can't we just pick from defined zones or areas? That way if one is getting blasted I could fall back to another and then begin a push.

Hoth feels slapdash in how the spawning goes. This is alleviated somewhat by spawning on your buddy, but still. In the worst cases I'd spawn right where the enemy team was heaviest, leading to instant deaths over and over.

Also, it's incredibly disorienting not knowing where you're going to spawn, leading to instances of where I'm right where I need to be, or I'm a hilarious long walk to the objective, only to die when I get 80% of the way and then to have to walk again (seriously what's up with the distance between spawn and objectives). As a newbie rolling into Hoth last night, the amount of times I died on spawn was crazy. It's the first time I've ever really felt truly in a Star Wars battle, but I have to agree with the point on spawns.
